And now for the personal questions from the message board...
Are you free? In spirit, in mind, in body...but yeah, I'm single. :p WHAT?! Females that like video games are usually doomed to that fate! And it's not so bad as you might think. ;)
How did you get started in drawing? When I started writing in 8th grade, I wanted to make pictures of the characters to go with it. Then I met my best friend Heather who was already quite good, and she showed me her Elfquest drawings, which interested me, and we both started liking and drawing X-Men...and everything just kind of took off from there!
What are your interests outside RPGC? Cooking, drawing, writing, playing the piano, singing, hiking, movies, being around my family, almost all kinds of music...pretty normal stuff, I suppose! And ruling the universe.
What are your plans for the future? Within the next year, I'd like to pay off my student loan (blargh), and get back into school. I'm majoring to be a high school English teacher of sorts, as I'd love to teach creative writing. Since a lot of the people in this community are relatively young, I'd like to think that I'm justified in coming here often and chatting with the teenage masses! Mwah ha ha! Long term, I'd like to get married and have a family someday. But that's just a generic thing right now, haven't got anyone in particular JUST yet!
Favorite RPG class? White mage, I think! Ninja is cool too...the more weapons you can equip, the better!
Favorite Weapon? Firefirefirefirefirefirefire...
How did I become staff? Dragon God suggested that I take over the fanart section, submitted it to the staffers for approval, and I was in! I'd already been drawing several pictures of the staffers' sprites, so I was pretty well known as it stood.
What drew me to RPGC? A friend showed me 8-Bit Theater, which eventually led me to Online Life and Macc's HQ. At the time, Spoony Bard was pondering the idea of adding a regular female character to the comic. Faetan was my favorite character that I'd come up with, so I sent it to him. But of course, he had no idea who the heck I was, so I said, "Hey, I'm gonna make myself known." So I jumped into the RPGC chatroom and latched onto the familiar characters...the first being Merlin...and sent him a drawing that resembled his sprite. After awhile I got sort of attached to everyone, and gave up trying to manipulate Spoony into making me a sprite in his comic. :) So now I'm a regular! (EDIT: And now I *am* in Spoony's comic, so my life is complete!)
What's your real name? Eve. But you can call me MASTER!
Which party do you regularly vote for? I'm unaffiliated, but I tend to vote more for Republicans than Democrats. Nothing personal, just the way the issues go.
You have a big ego, don't you? Not really, just a very *tender* ego that I like to have stroked frequently. Gah, that sounds terrible!
Who looks better in a dress, Kagon or Mazrim? If they both send me pics, I'll tell you.
Favorite RPG? Final Fantasy VI, definitely!
Personality strengths? Well...huh. I'm not so good at this part. I'm pretty compassionate, I hate seeing people being sad. I'm trustworthy for the most part...if you swear me to secrecy, I'll stay quiet. I don't know what to say! Blargh. You can judge for yourself what you like and don't, since a lot of traits are subjective anyway.
Weaknesses? Overly trusting. I'm also somewhat of a terrible prude, so I tend to frown heavily on swearing and dirty jokes, stuff like that. My room is messy. I hate housecleaning. I dunno, this one's subjective too!
How long do you plan for Rendezvous to be? I'm not really sure...it's like one of those weird anime shows that just goes on forever because there's always some randomness of one kind or another popping up. If I get a mental block, I just have to visit the chat room. :p
What's your greatest challenge in fanfic and fanart? Appeasing the masses. :p That, and keeping all the characters straight in Rendezvous! For drawing, feet are the hardest. In writing, it would have to be action sequences. My style gets sort of flat during those areas.
What influenced your art style? The artists for the animated Batman show, Ghostbusters cartoons, and whatever anime holds my interest at the time. But MOST of all, Heather's provided the biggest influence just because she's so dang talented, and teaches me her techniques.
What inspires you? There are two big areas of inspiration. One is to be around other types of art/drawings, like when I hang out with Heather or watch some anime show. The second would be having my ego stroked. Nothing makes you want to draw more than a solid, honest compliment. It usually increases chances of a second drawing, too, if I like you. ;)
Hamburgers or Hot Dogs? I was going to say hamburgers, but...well, hot dogs off the barbecue? That's so good! HEY! If I were a scientist, you know what I would clone? HOT DOGS!
Favorite subject in school? At the moment, drawing. But that's because it's matched up against boring things like human relations, math, essay writing, and college success. Blech. Japanese is my second favorite.
Favorite foods? Oh man, there are so many...I really LOVE good food, and especially cooking! I think my favorite meal would be beef chow mein, spring rolls, and pork fried rice. But I also love ravioli, pizza with bacon and Canadian bacon, beef jerky, Swedish meatballs, broiled salmon, salads, chocolate truffles (ha, one sweet thing!), parmesan cheese angel-hair Pasta-Roni, pink lemonade, chocolate milk... I'm starving, so I think I'll stop there.
What is your opinion on Santa Claus (i.e. where is he from)? I think he originated in Germany? But hey, he lives at the North Pole, duh.
Does your name ever make you hungry? Should it?
How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? *steals Cless Alvein's answer* 4.773 pounds per hour
Is tackling a recreational activity for you, or a profession? A little of both! I mean, it's my job to tackle Zero and Lunaris on a regular basis. I'd say more 'profession' at the moment.
What turned you on so about the RPGC staff to make you want to draw pictures and write fanfics about them? Oh, that's easy! I love the wild and random sense of humor you guys have! Everyone was so nice and supportive of my art when I first waltzed in, that it made me want to draw more. Then I got more and more attached to everyone, and heck, I was hooked!
Favorite ninja weapon? Aw, fire isn't a ninja weapon... How about the classic katana?
(From Charlemagne) Why do you hate me? I don't hate you! I like you a lot! *adopts Charlemagne* If I set you on fire, it means I'm exceedingly fond of you! Or else I hate your guts and want you to die while amusing me. Luckily for YOU, Charl, it's cause I like you!
Quote: I have wished a bird would fly away,
And not sing by my house all day;

Have clapped my hands at him from the door
When it seemed as if I could bear no more.

The fault must partly have been in me.
The bird was not to blame for his key.

And of course there must be something wrong
In wanting to silence any song.
